Welcome to Pearland Psychiatric Associates, a comprehensive care facility run by Mood and Behavioral Specialists. Our team of expert clinicians is led by board-certified psychiatrist, Prashant Gajwani, MD. Dr. Gajwani has acquired years of experience in psychiatry –both academic and clinical—through which he has conducted clinical trials and taught countless psychiatric residents. Along with being board-certified in Neurology, Dr. Gajwani has served as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry. His expertise covers a wide range of Mood Disorders, such as Bipolar Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder, to name a few. In addition to the standard protocol of medication and counseling/therapy for treating behavioral disorders, we offer several alternative options to those who are clinically drug-resistant. Dr. Gajwani’s direction in medicine is always transitioning with the newest, cutting edge developments in the psychiatric field. As treatments for mental disorders are progressing, our practice is committed to evolve with these advances.
